Technically retired but working fulltime as a family carer for a relative with complex needs.

I used to enjoy travel to Scandinavia, especially when the ferry service was running between the Port of Tyne and Bergen and Stavanger, Norway. I worked on a care farm as a volunteer (digging ditches, weeding organic / biodynamic vegetables, milking cows by hand) every summer for about ten years. I loved the Norwegian fjords and forests - in fact like a Norwegian Blue Parrot, still pine for them now.
